Travel Photography - Yet another video with iPhone 4S

We have yet another video during the flight frmo JFK-SFO. How they do that? Is they allowed to turn the iphone on during in-flight. I am not quite sure if they permitted to play the video during in-flight. How they can do that? Same as AF 747 flight from SFO-CDG.

Tape?

Comments on the page say suction cup mount tripod. Obviously, they didn't pay any attention to the no electronics at takeoff and landing part, so you're not *really* supposed to do that. I'm a little surprised that if they did suction cup it to the window that it didn't get noticed during those times by the flight attendants.
