Qatar Airways Privilege Club - Flights to SFO/LAX ?

Hi. Does anyone know if QR plans on direct flights to LAX/SFO ?

EK's flight to SFO in particular runs more than 95% full (often 100%) in Y/J, with most pax heading to India - not Dubai.

It seems like QR could do very well also, and I would welcome some competition on this route. :p
