Any idea about the earnings on AC (Business, Booking Class Z). RT FRA-YUL. According to the EB Chart it is low business. So will I get only 100%, 150% or 200%?

According to the EB Chart it is low business. So will I get only 100%, 150% or 200%? Low business is listed as min 300 points which is the same as (full) economy. In my experience that amounts to 100% of the miles travelled (rounded up to nearest 100 points). GCMAP has FRA-YUL as 3648 miles, so I would expect 3700 points to post to your EB account. Svantevit BardK Mar 9, 12, 7:52 pm Yes, AC is good in C, but the rewards are bad. Got a suprise myself that I got less than half the points compared to e.g. LH from Norway to the US/Canada. another_shot Mar 10, 12, 1:18 am AC Z will give you 100% on EB, however the hard product is much superior to SK/LH so you should not regret it BardK Mar 10, 12, 3:54 pm That really depends on whether you need the points for status. I don't because I got more than enough for gold and I get a lot of points for use by my credit cards. niksal Aug 28, 12, 1:10 am This is slightly OT, but I didn't want to start a new thread. I flew YYZ-CPH-HEL booked as SK K fare, where YYZ-CPH obviously was operated by AC. I was quite positively surprised to see that the K-fare mapped into AC T, which is 100% earnings, i.e. 4000 points. What made me so surprised was that AC themselves were selling a day before the flight still L-fares, which would have given only 25%. I have heard earlier some speculation that codeshares might map into the lowest available fare-bucket, but that doesn't seem to be true then. Just thought this could be valuable information for anyone looking to fly XXX-CPH-YYZ. It seems to be safe to book the SK codeshare. Points on all my AC flights so far have posted promptly within 5 days, which is another plus! |
