I'm just arrived in Italy, bought a prepaid Vodafone SIM card, and added €30 credit to it. I asked in the Vodafone shop if "Internet Super" (which I understand is 3GB/month at 7.2Mbps for €19.99/month) could be enabled. The salesperson said that internet was already enabled at €5 per month. This disagrees with what I read online at prepaidgsm.net. Due to the language barrier I wasn't able to get more details from her. Was she correct? The phone is on 3G now, and I'm able to access the internet, but I have no idea how much it's costing me or whether I'm getting full speed.
If not correct, does anyone know how to enable the internet package? I've tried calling 190 and 42070, but cannot understand the Italian-only menus. I read online that these can be set to both Italian and English, but have no idea how to do this.
