Caribbean - How long does it take to tour Old San Juan?

Just curious what a good amount of time to budget to wander the streets, check out the forts and visit any good museums/houses/buildings in the area.

I would say at least half a day if you are quick and do not stop too long for sightseeing. I writhed direct make a day of it, as there are several good restaurants for lunch, diner. If you go early, before 9am, you should head over to La Bombonera for breakfast and coffee. Have a mallorca.

I'd actually split it into two half days, since there's quite a bit of walking.

Or a day + evening, with a break in the middle for rest, shower, and change of clothe, since at night SJ becomes quite fun.
