over the last 6 years we flew with Qatar from the UK to Asia, due to my ignorance I was unaware that I was missing out on points (and free lounge time ) .
This Jan i tried by send my stubs to Qatar to back the points but to no avail, due the time since the flights.
In February we went to Thailand this time I was ready with my membership No and tickets hoping to get my points so next time we fly I'll be on silver , they would only give me points for myself and not my partners points ( we always fly together) who was on the same ticket.
at the airport I was told by Qatar I could claim the points on my return home to the UK,now were home I'm finding impossible to get the points on my card.
I thought the idea of the cards with rewards for good customers Iv flew with them each year for the last 6 and now I feel let down, any ideas please,
Im currently on 80 points but need 150 for the next level, any help would be great as Im getting little help from Qatar , Stephen

I'm a little confused what your question is. You only get tier points for yourself. You can get your partner's miles (at a reduced rate) if they are on your account, though if you always travel together I don't recommend this, as it would be better for you to each have your own account.

There is plenty of info on the Privilege Club website regarding how many tier points you need and can earn. 1 return trip to Thailand in Y will only get you 80 points; you need 2 trips like this in a calendar year to get to silver...

No, afraid not. As I say, it's best to both have your own accounts if you always travel together, as this way you will get the most miles out of it. For example, after 5 returns to Thailand, I have enough miles for a free return flight there, and availability of reward seats is better than on some carriers like BA...
