Hi there -- my wife will be arriving on Wednesday morning on TG F from FRA, continuing to RGN in C (no F available). From what I'm reading, she will be taken to the F lounge. I will join her in BKK for the last segment (also in C) -- can I meet her/enter the lounge as her guest?

Yes you may as she can bring one guest with her.
I haven't done a transfer this month, so anaidross is most probably right.
Then they were dropping us off at the transfer station, abandoning is a better word:), and we had to do the body scan, the shoe and belt rubbish and luggage checks prior to the escalator upstairs. This was taking a full 30-45 minutes. Once upstairs they were enforcing the lounge access rules, departing in F go to F lounge, departing in C go to C lounge

Pax are allowed one (1) guest in the F lounge.
Just have your wife notify the lounge that she will have a guest coming and when you arrive there will be no problems.

You are obviously going through transfer security in the D/E/F/G area. Why not proceed through the A/B/C/D security where it's rare to have the body scan working.

Wait, so it's not clear that she'd get to use the F lounge? I thought that was only an issue with domestic connections -- and that for international transfers, they'd take you to F lounge always?
Thanks for the help.

You're quoting the wrong person. I said nothing indicating she wouldn't get the F lounge.
