How long do CC points normally take to post? I checked out on Thursday morning and nothing has been posted to my account. I checked out of Hilton on Friday morning and those points posted today (Sunday).

I think it depends on the hotel. If nothing happens, use the online tool 10 days after checkout and the online team will give you the points within few days. If you are lucky, the hotel will do the same afterwards, douple! points for you, with the current promo even 6 x points...

So don't worry, in many hotels, it is a manual process and you might even get the benefit of double points for waiting...!

3-5 days usually depending on the hotel.

My experience has been 3-7 days. The two times I had to claim online for points I hadn't received, they added the points about 10 days later.

For me its usually on the 3rd day after check out. Late morning. Can almost set my clock to the time posted

Currently checking out Friday, posting the following Wednesday.

over weekend, checked out thursday, points posted late Sunday.

my personal experience:
1) from 10 stays only 4 appear "independent" in my account, about 5-8 days after my check-out.
for the other 60% of stays I have to ask for by using the missing points online form on the cc webside.

same here althoiugh maybe 25% only I had to chase down, I worked it out to 9 days for stays on average that it takes to post.

Wow, wonder what the problem is? I checked out on Monday and now by Thursday was really wondering why those points hadn't shown up yet. Guess if they aren't there by the 10th day I will fill out the online form.

I have had to manually chase the hotel each time since I joined CC. (Radisson Cork, Little Island)

have had 2 reservations from 02.-04/MAR/2012. waited until 13/Mar/2012 (9 days after check out) for both rooms no points posted.
I ask for the points by using the missing points online form on the cc webside - until today (15/Mar/2012) only the automatic email-response.

FWIW, in case anyone hits this thread to find out about the Avis partner promotions, my recent ones have been posting 3-5 days after return, with the origination as date of record, which I think is remarkable for a partner promotion. But earlier promotional rentals - several weeks ago - took 3-4 weeks to post.
