Swiss International Airlines - F cabin with C service: What's the deal?

Just wondering what the latest rules are in regards to who can get First seats when an aircraft is used with an F cabin sold as C?

I know that SEN used to be able to request these at check in and then I read that was no longer possible and only HONs were offered these, so is that still the case?

Just wondering about an upcoming ZRH-TLV flight next week (which I'm hoping won't have a last minute aircraft change!).

You are right prio 1 goes to Hon's ( there are always plenty ) on the TLV route. SEN's afaik will only be moved up-front when there are less than 8 HON's AND C is fully booked.

Taking in consideration the fully flat C seats it is not such a tragedy for Sens.
With the old A332 it did make a big difference.

Fully agree.

I'll just be happy if the aircraft actually remains an A333 and I don't end up on a last minute A320...

I and a companion were upgraded to F on TLV-ZRH last week, without being an M&M member at all. I was one of the first to check-in, and I asked there. They told me to ask again at the gate. When I approached them at the gate, they had already printed our new boarding passes.

As far as I could see, business was full, so I guess there were few HONs and SENs on board.
