Mexico - Late Arrival in Merida- Transport to Downtown Hotel

I'm planning a three day trip to Merida in May. Will be arriving around 11:00 PM on Aeromexico and will need safe, reliable service to one of the downtown hotels. Could someone recommend a service or driver that will safely get me between these points? I'm returning to airport at 5:00 AM. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you. PS I'm expecting mild warm weather.

For one, you could contact the hotel you are staying and ask them to contact a trusted taxi driver or driver to be there, or even have them arrange a chauffeured car for you. It's common in Mexico to ask the hotel concierge or restaurant maitre d'hotel or reception to call a taxi for you (as opposed to flagging one down on the street), as they have relationships with some drivers or a taxi rank / company.

Mild warm weather? In May in Mexico? :D May is the hottest month in most of central and southern Mexico. Take cool clothing - maybe buy a guayabera or two at a place like Jack's.
