Group and Event Travel Planning - 10 going bos to flr in June: tricks on getting good price?

10 of us are going from bos to florence 6/22 to 7/1
staying at my sister's place but the farm house is rented on both ends of our visit so we can not adjust flight too much
check out her place www.corzanoepaterno.com.. 650 sheep to milk twice daily
have tried kayak/orbitz/expedia/travelocity/ etc for prep
airlines double their prices just before our trip (shocking news!)
any tricks on how to book????

are they doubling the prices cuz of the size? if so, just book seperately? I did that when booking my trip of 8 people.

10 pax should be elgable for a group fare.....the carrier web site usually has a # for the group folks or res can xfer you....

have you looked on orbitz/other for the low bidder for the trip?

4 of ten heading over from DC so cant get group rate as must start in same place
