Scheduled to fly a same day turn
IAD-EWR-DEN-GEG-DEN-IAD flight on 4/17

new schedule change will violate a MCT in DEN on the return, can anyone help with options to increase my mileage?

Best i could come up with is, GEG-DEN-LAX-JFK-IAD on the return. I suppose i could change the outgoing as well but not sure what would be best..

any help would be appreciated! thanks!

I am bumping up this thread (which didn't exactly get off the ground! Sorry, sidestep!)
I have had great success maxing out MR's as a result of schedule changes! The most outrageous is a MR to TUS which I finessed into 2 nights in SFO over President's Day weekend!
On a recent call to UA, I was advised of a "policy change". Agents are evidently being told to only accommodate change requests which are +/- 4 hours (it used to be 2?). fyi, I have succeeded in requesting changes on schedule changes of less than 30 minutes!
Also, does UA ever pay where a schedule change requires an overnight in a location not on original itinerary? Success stories?

If, for example, they advise that they will get you to your destination, but 3 hours later than originally scheduled, or you obliged to go along with that change rather than be accommodated in some way? If you wanted to nix the whole thing, couldn't you simply demand a refund?

UA will always offer a refund. The thing about MR's is we rarely, ir ever, want a refund since replacing the ticket could could cost 2x/3x original price!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm looking into options. Will check out Orbitz and US Air. Considering TPA same day RT or AUS.
