My wife participated in Usair’s fall Grandslam promotion. Her 16th hit was supposed to come from a National car rental on a November business trip. Even though she submitted her Usair FF#, the miles have yet to come, and we’ll miss out on a 10K bonus without this final hit. (I believe miles have to post by the end of March to qualify).
We’ve called customer service several times, and while we’ve gotten mixed information, the most common answer is that her company has a policy that you cannot earn miles for business rentals. My wife has never heard about this policy before, but it could be true. Still, we just want to get 1 mile from National dated back to November so we can get the 16th hit and accompanying 10K miles. We asked for a supervisor and pleaded our case, and they are supposedly looking into it. Has anybody experienced this before? Is there anything else we can do? Please let us know if you have any suggestions.
