Any quick thoughts on the place (recently refurbished)?

Looks like a bargain to me, Just told Mrs P and she has facebook'd it to all her french family/buddies :)

I stayed at the Charing Cross property a few years back (on priceline) and was quite impressed.

Is that the faint sound of a website crashing...? :D

I'm occasionally getting the page back again, but it's the same "Check back at 11am" message. Suspect it's probably being cached somewhere.

Managed to get onto the first page too, but when I try searching for availability I get the following message:

Strange that hotels never seem to get these things to work!

I just got off the phone with their reservations.

I thought I'd be cheeky and try to get this over the phone as website was down.

Got told that the offer has been withdrawn and that an email will be sent out to everyone who was on the list when its back on.

I told him I wasn't on the list and asked if I could be added but was told you could only get on the list if you had stayed there before.

Was also told they wouldn't be able to get an extra bed in the standard room for Little Miss, but I could probably upgrade to an exec room which would have it for £60-70 on top.

Oh well, was worth a shot I guess :)

I work a stone's throw away from there, I may stay the whole of April, save my commute!

That's weird. After some patience I managed to book a room at 12:25 today.

They just sent out an apology email for their 'crashed' reservation system and offered a draw for the remaining rooms.
