Hi guys,

my girlfriend is a OW Sapphire (Plat AA) and she's flying JFK-BCN-TLV soon. The ticket is IB but first segment is AA and second segment is LY. Question is: will she be allowed to go to a OW lounge in BCN?

Thanks!

Help anybody?

According to this info:
http://www.iberia.com/salas-vip/acceso/

... it will not be possible as LY does not belong to OW. But I´d call the AA Çustomer Service to make sure...

For lounge access the departing flight must normally be a oneworld operated flight, so she could try for access but not be surprised if she does not get it, as she is not entitled.

oneworld lounge access by oneworld tier:
Members of oneworld airline frequent flyer programmes with the equivalent of oneworld Emerald or Sapphire status can use any lounge offered by any oneworld airline when departing on any flight marketed and operated by any oneworld member airline*, no matter in which cabin class they are flying.
