Has anyone flown the new config 777 (for transpacific flight) and use the wall-mounted bassinet (bulkhead row 34)? UAs website says bassinets are used for babies up to about 6 months - but what is the weight and size limit? Are the wall-mounted bassinets easily detachable/attachable by the passenger - or must an FA do it? Once it's attached, is it there for the duration of the flight, or can it be moved to the floor periodically? I would also like to know about the leg room in row 34. Is it significantly more? Not sure if this post belongs in this forum...or in the UA forum...Moderators, feel free to move! Thanks!!

You are posting in the correct forum.

No, there is not significantly more leg room in this row. I don't believe you are supposed to take the bassinet off the wall. Upper weight limit is 22 pounds.

You will have to take the baby out for take off and landing and every time the seat belt sign comes on.
