Le Club Accorhotels - Any shortcuts to A-club status?

I have status in many other hotel schemes, I have Amex platinum and status on many airlines.
Are there any status matches (I did a search and I know these are not common) or offers out there for status?

And with everything else A-Club nothing seems to be enforced:

1. Offer is valid for Citi PremierMiles World Elite MasterCard members in the United Arab Emirates, until 31st May 2012.

Again this proves that getting free status with A-Club is easy peasy lemon squeeze and devalues the program :( It's not really a loyalty program is it (but I guess that has been discussed a million times in here so I'll leave it for now)? :)

You could buy some Accor shares.
