This summer I have a layover of 1hr 30 min in SFO on my way to ICN. I am arriving on AC 761 from YUL and then catching OZ 213 to ICN. Is that enough time to make the connection?

This should be moved to the SF forum, and the answer is Yes, if everything is on time.

it depends what terminal you fly into. AC flies into gates A and G, while OZ flies out of gates A and G. I think usually, OZ flies out of G, being that they are *A. If both fly in and out of the same, then you should be fine. But i think, IF AC ISNT DELAYED, that 1.5 hours will be enough time to get from A to G or whatever gates they are at. I had a 2 hour connection at SFO last year and was fine.

But overall, I would be very weary of this connection. It depends when in the summer you are going (as the fog will play havoc on SFO delays going in). I went early summer when the fog didn't play as much havoc (early june), but after that, you are playing the luck of the draw when it comes to the weather. Being that you are flying from east coast, you may have a slightly better chance (depending when you fly out), but still, it is something I would try and work around rather than take the chance, depending on your flight variables (when you go, time of departure, etc)

Winter is more of a concern for SFO, and not Summer. Yes, there is more fog in the Summer, but Summer fog is not usually a problem at SFO. Rain, however, destroys the schedule.

This is basically a Domestic -> International connection. You will clear US immigrations/customs in YUL pre-departure, and on arrival in SFO you'll be let out into the departure area of the terminal (as others have said, either terminal A or G - AC use both).

If you're in the same terminal for both flights, it's a worst-case ~5 minute walk between gates.

If you're in the other terminal it's probably 15 minutes, but you'll need to re-clear security which can be relatively busy at that time of day and could be mean between 5-20+ minutes if you don't have status.

I'd be willing to schedule that 90 minute layover. A longer layover would reduce your risk of missing the connection, but a longer layover is also really tiresome. My wild guess is that you would make this connection 9 out of 10 times at SFO in summer.

Asiana Airlines (OZ) operates out of the International A- Terminal.

How AC works at SFO is that the morning and early afternoon flights use the A-pier gates and the late/evening flights use the G-Pier.
