EL AL Matmid - Lounge access for 60 points?

In the LY FAQ it states:

Passengers can also access the lounge, with no guest privileges, by purchasing a day pass for $29 or arranging in advance with EL AL for 60 Matmid points. A GL or higher can arrange for someone to be allowed access for 60 points, even if he/she's not there.

I have not been able to find where one can purchase such a voucher on the Elal site. Any help appreciated..

I was able to do it at the KD lounge itself - signed a piece of paper and the voucher was issued retroactively by LY (approx 1 month later).
Per the website it can only be done by GL and higher, but I was able to as SL/KD member with no problem.

Gads, at that price there will be more people in the KD lounge than the airport lounge. Kinda defeats the purpose--IMHO!

Buying KD access is nothing new, and your avarage PAX travelling through TLV will not pay that.

Perhaps you don't know Israelis, but they would quickly calculate how much they could gorge themselves on in the airport and find that $29 is not such a deal.

That's exactly what I did - showed up to the KD lounge at the airport and arranged guests at the entrance to KD. IIRC there was an option on the 'entrance computer' to enter with points. Again, not sure if this works for anyone or just for GL/KD members to allow extra guests.

I am Silver but paid $150 to have KDL membership (it is worth it for the KDL access in TLV on my LH/BA flights instead of the overcrowded Dan Lounge..)
