I saw a thread about CPH/NYC, but what about going to Stockholm from NY?

Which is better, SAS or CO?

I am 1K/Platinum on CO/UA

From my research I see that SAS Biz class is not true "flatbed" just 170 degr vs. CO BizFirst which is Flatbed.

I've flown CO's BF seats and they are flat but not very wide. Though on their respective sites, SAS says their seats are 52cm and CO BF is 27 inches which is over 60cms.

EWR vs. JFK doesn't matter to me (coming from Manhattan).

Want comfy seat since it's overnight flight, and speedy through airport. I will probably check 1 bag and carry on 2 smaller ones.

Thanks.

Given that EWR-ARN is flown by the same airlines as EWR-CPH, using the same aircraft types and that the flights are almost the same length and depart at almost the same time, I think it is reasonable to assume that everything you learned from the "CPH/NYC thread" will apply also to STO/NYC.

Indeed.

Previously, EWR-CPH on CO was more reliable for the lie-flat than EWR-ARN on CO because of CO's 757s upgrade schedule and allocation of upgraded equipment when there were also non-upgraded 757s rotating in for EWR-Scandinavia. Now, it seems mostly a wash for these routes to ARN and CPH.
