Hilton HHonors - Limit to # of guests for reward stay?

I've had little experience actually using my HHonors points for reward stays and hae a question. I've booked 2 reward stays for my partner and me and asked for one king bed. Now my sisters are tagging along and want to stay in the room, too. Can I simply request 2 queen beds and tell them there will be 4 guests in the room instead of 2? There will be 2 golds and 2 non-status guests. How would breakfasts work?

It depends on the hotel. In Europe and Latin America and Asia, most hotel rooms have two single beds or 1 queen or 1 king bed, so you will be asked to pay for the extra rollways -- if that is even permissible by the hotel or the prevailing rules & regulations in that jurisdiction. In the US & Canada & maybe Mexico, you may have better luck. Call and ask first. The age of the 2 extra guests may make a difference too -- i.e., under a certain age no additional charge or reduced charge or over a certain age additional charge or not possible.

I had booked the HHV last year for two adults and called later to add a third adult. There was no extra charge. We all received breakfast coupons for the entire stay. I believe the wording has changed in the Honors benefits listing stating that there will be two breakfast coupons issued. Whether that will be the case or not is yet to be seen, then again if there are two gold members do you then receive four coupons or just two issued to the gold member who has the room reserved. As was suggested it would probably be best to call the specific property to clarify beforehand whether or not there will be a charge for the additional two people.

I've done award stays with three adults in a room a couple of times with no problem. I mentioned it each time when I asked for the certificate, and the certificates themselves showed the "3 adults" as I recall.

If you call the Hilton reservations people, they should be able to tell you.
