Flying Blue (Air France, KLM, and Other Partners) - LOS-NBO miles?

I am a bit confused. I called Flying Blue today to ask them about a one way award from LOS (Lagos) to NBO (Nairobi). Was told that the price for a classic award was 15.000 miles in business class. It was suggested to me to book it online to avoid having to pay at a local airport. However when booking online the price jumps to 30.000 miles one-way classic award. Anybody have any clue if this is correct and the agent was wrong? It's a nonstop KQ service. Thanks!

The miles finder on klm.dk quotes 60.000 miles for a return flight in business class yet it then says:

All flights within Africa 1 except KQ direct flights

What is a direct flight?

What is a direct flight?

LOS-NBO without a change of planes or landing in between. And that exists.

:) but what does it mean "except" direct flights? Are they priced differently?
