Of course there are other cities which I love to visit. But the ones above I have to visit at least once a year, if not more. And it's usually the latter.

Really? Are you not such a big fan of Vienna? We loved it, cannot wait to go back. What rich, grand history it has. Plus I love the accent they use when speaking German. :)

Sorry, ajax, just being silly. I really like Vienna - used to travel a lot there on business and have had many enjoyable lunches and evenings out in the city.

However, if you ask Midge Ure's opinion...

(this use to be a running joke with colleagues)

* Rome, Italy
* Paris, France
* London, United Kingdom
* Barcelona, Spain
* Florence, Italy
* Venice, Italy (off-season only!)
* Verona, Italy
* Ravello, Italy
* Nice, France
* Amalfi, Italy
* Siena, Italy
* Positano, Italy
* Milan, Italy
* Anacapri, Italy
* Cambridge, United Kingdom
* Istanbul, Turkey
* Prague, Czech Republic
* Oia, Greece
* Bath, United Kingdom
* Viterbo, Italy
* Aosta, Italy

Actually the 'off-season only' thing applies to any tourist destination. A couple of these are more accurately called "towns" than cities. Finally, unlike many people I was pleasantly surprised by both Manchester and Birmingham, UK.
