Iberia Airlines Iberia Plus - Y or J with avios - MAD-GRU

Hi forum friends,

Question is simple but worth asking, is it worth spending 25k+ avios to fly business one -way from MAD-GRU on the A346 or is it better to have that in the account for future expenditure. I currently have about 200k avios and I am thinking of spending about 80k next year.

So the question is...Would you spend those 25k for 11 hours on J? I would like to add that I am Amex Plat so I can use the lounges anyway

Well... Fly J is always better than fly Y, specially in IB, because IB J product it's like a biz/first class.

Do worry about spend miles for long-haul flights in J.

IB product is not "like a biz/first class".
It is a nice but normally packed (52 seats in the cabin) product with lie flat seats. Decent service and food.
I would spend 25K for a business cabin even on TAM or Alitalia :eek:
Don't worry, IB is overall a better product.
