As title states, suggestions please.
I will be there around March 8
Please provide suggestions on places to eat (cheap but healthy as possible), things to do/see, and hotels to stay at.
It can be any safe/clean hotel.

The state capitol, cool architecture, on the river, Univeristy of Charleston... Some great restaurants and shopping across the river from the university. Easy to get from airport to city.
That said.. no reason to go unless work calls you there.

Parkersburg is definitely on my list of interesting places to visit in West Virginia because of the history tours available.

Yes, visiting the capitol was fun. Very large building, and totally open for wandering around. In the downtown area, there was an Egyptian/Lebanese buffet called Sahara. It was fairly inexpensive, and the food was incredibly tasty! I'd definitely go again if I was in Charleston WV!
