India-based Airlines - 9w: Friggin Joke (But True!): "No Supervisors Work on Sunday" - 9w Call Center

Amazing, but true - don't get caught on your left foot on a Sunday with the Jet Call Center!
"No supervisors work on Sunday" - so basically the robotic dimwits who have no idea what's going on will never see the light! And we are *stuck* with them!
Jet has gone to new lows... (Although I think I noted this earlier, but luckily not flying much domestic unless I have to these days, so never caught me fully - until now!)
They run absolutely *full* flights on almost every sector, then whine they are losing money while at the same time cost-cutting like IT is! :td: :td:

to test this theory i just called the jp center & asked to speak with a supervisor regarding an upcoming reservation that is waitlisted for an upgrade....after a little bit of back & forth they finally put me through to a supervisor (or so they claimed)....
so either they lied to me or you got a bad agent who lied to you????either way, not good....

Just made a call center booking for domestic and mentioned that international told me this, and is whether this was also true for domestic.
She immediately confirmed "yes", without any hesitation.
Note that this agent I spoke to was very experienced, as she did what I wanted with regard to seating, D-class, etc., very quickly and efficiently - which is not normally the case these days.
Further, ever try to change a PNR last-minute without having the PNR handy? The new characters do not even want to waste their time and help you by searching by flight number/pax name any longer! If one has to move and change things last minute - then they are absolutely useless there!

The deception of responding by saying "I am the supervisor" has changed to "no supervisors today". Have to give it to them for being creative, but :td: :td: to the customer-unfriendly joke being played by the call centers.
Given how lousy/lazy some of the call center employees are for this airline, sometimes it is just easier to have someone stop at the airline's ticketing office -- which goes often to show how lousy 9W call handling is.

It's not like their ordinary staff work on Sundays (or any other days) either.
Show up to the office, sure. Do any work that actually helps the customers? Of course not.
