Africa - Cape Town Car Hire

My wife and I wanted to hire a car in July 2012 from Cape Town airport with a drop off in Constantia. We were looking for a decent car (BMW, Mercedes, etc.) for one week. Any recommendations for a good value car hire company?

I've been warming to EuropCar lately. Good rates, pre-pay option gets you a lower price. But, I wouldn't endorse them over all others. I've had good results with Hertz (which I think is an affiliate rather than a corp shop), Avis and, I think Budget (though I could be mixing Budget with SixIt).

As an aside, I notice that the rate for a Merc/BMW has gone up quite a bit for my taste (though you're traveling what I would call "off season"). Unless you're into labels type thing, there are nice 4 door sedans that'll do the job at a lower cost. And, often with more space.
