Hilton HHonors - Fasttrack to Maintaining Status?

I have searched the forums for fasttracks but can't find anything for those that already have status... Anyone know of any fasttrack towards maintaining Diamond status?

It might be fastest if you stay at a different hotel each night in February. That would be a very fast way.......:-)

Wish there was a fast track but I think Hilton figures that once we've reached Diamond and have been able to use our benefits we'll want to stay at that level.

If you find a true fast track please post it.

Funny you should ask, I called the Diamond line about the same thing today.

They told me that I'll keep my status until April anyway, so it's too early.

But they might run a promo to allow you to keep your status by then.

Otherwise, I was told to call a supervisor as we're getting closer to April.

In May or June they may give you a 10-stays within 90 days kind of Diamond Challenge. It was done for some people that I know.

With this past promotion, I ended up doing 24 stays instead of 28 to get to Diamond.

The persons that did this promotion all managed to get 28+ stays in during 2003. I guess it's a win-win.

I hate to start rumors so you can take this for what it worth, but a telephone conversation within the last few days with a CSR at the diamond desk indicates that something like this is in the works again.
Now if I had a dollar for everything a HHonors CSR has said....
