I recently decided to take a trip to Isla Margarita when I was out in Caracas, I wanted to go to Aruba but weather was unsettled. So I decided to burn 15K for a PS at the Hilton, which has a casino. So I head out to CCS early in the morning, and grab a OW ticket on Laser air for only 55,000BR. We actually had a sandwich on the 40 minute flight! anyway upon landing there was rain Ahh where is the sun!? So I pay 15K for a taxi to the hotel. Check in. offered breakfast coupon for the next morning. One night one breakfast. I was told room was not ready. Asked about upgrade she had to inquire with manager. Ok So I get a room in the suites tower. My God what an desolate building. I get to my room, the door was hard to open/close. The room was a dump! Everything screamed 40 real a night motel to take a hooker to in Vidgal (For you Rio fans) The room felt like it was not taken care of for years, although not dirty. Well it clears up I go to the pool to find I need towel cards. So go all the way to get them. Relax at the pool. Go back nap more, head out and party. So I come back to the hotel with some lady friends I met at Sr Frogs I am given trouble, by hotel staff, which after some arguing I fix. Well we I realize that I cannot make Breakfast with my early flight so I ask if I can substiture dinner for BFast Which cost more than dinner. No problem. Get dinner it was awful. I sleep a bit go to check out, and find the dinner charge which they would not remove. Took a lot of arguing until they gave in. I have to say that this hotel scored a D in my book, I was treated like a nothing by most of the staff. I can say the pool is decent. But the beach is a must avoid. If you are in CCS stay away from Margarita Island. Although the clubs are fun and are the women. Who are beautiful too there are better places to go blow money.
