Just a friendly FYI to check your account activity.

I booked a stay for one-night at a Hampton Inn on hamptoninn.com... and did in fact stay at the hotel. There was nothing special or different about the rate.

It took over a week to post, and when it did it had the folio amount correct, but "0" points, "0" miles posted to my account and there was not even a line item for a VIP bonus.

I called into HH and they fixed it immediately without hesitation and offered their apologies. But the rep said "we've been having a lot of these lately."

Now, it is entirely possible that this situation would have corrected itself via some audit or something like that, but in any case you may want to check your account activity.

Again, the stay posted and listed that property correctly as my "last say", but no point or miles were posted.
