If I am flying out on Air Canada in Terminal D, will I have access to the United Club in Terminal E? (I mean, I know that I have access as *G, but can you transit terminals behind security?) And if I am able, how long should I give myself to get from the club to Terminal D? This is my first time to DFW in years, so I have absolutely no idea what the airport is like or where the club is. Thanks.

Yes, you can easily transfer between terminals (inside security) by using the skylink.

DFW is super easy to get around now since they completed the new high speed tram between terminals. Everything is behind security and it takes no more than 5 mins to go from one terminal to the other.

The UC is small and seating can be hard to come by during busy times. All the UA and CO gates are at the far end of E at the low numbered gates. The UC (old CO President's club) is right outside of gate E5 I believe.

AC gates are D6-16 so you're really looking at just one stop on the Skylink from E to D. I've never tried it but since you're on AC you might be allowed acces to the Lufthansa club by D21 instead.

Here's a good map for reference: http://www.dfwairport.com/terminals/index.php

Thanks for the help:-) I didn't imagine it would be anything fancy, but a better place to kill a couple of hours than DFS.

Yes, just take the SkyLink to E. Very fast, frequent, and efficient unlike most other US airports. DFW is one of the best airports worldwide to connect terminals airside, imho.

I have found the club nice and almost intimate - guess I was never there when it was busy :)

As others have said, the link is super easy and only takes a few minutes.

Terminal D isn't half bad either, especially if you could kill some of that time dining.
