What's the deal? Booked on HA from JFK to HNL for November in First, looks like they use T5. Wouldn't want to overlook some special stuffy chamber such as offered by the legacies.

But instead, it seems JetBlue takes a different tack. The pics of the Moroso Lounge make it look like fun, but further details are lacking. Is it really landside (and if so, how are there views of the tarmac)? Open to all, right? (Fine, T5 seems like a pleasure, passed through quickly on arrival last month.) So, refreshments must be obtained elsewhere, right? OK to bring in? Powerports, wifi? And, which is the "east side concourse"? Right or left? Thanks.

(Searched here for "Moroso", no hits before now.)

I think the Moroso lounge is the general waiting area.

JFK has great food, a few bars, power ports all over, blazing fast wifi, etc all over, and a view of the runway isn't hard to find.

All I read are raves. At the Hawaiian forum someone said Moroso is landside:

Don't see it on any terminal map. Airside, right? And, right or left from security?

Just to wrap up this thread, thanks.

Not sure if HA will make arrangements for some sort of premium or First Class lounge area, but the "Moroso Lounge" you have found reference to is really just the end of the main concourse gate area between gates 14 and 15.

Really great views of the ramp, taxxiways, and runways from here, but it is not a formal lounge or formal anything really (well except for the funky chairs) ..... Plenty of good restaurants and food options in T5 though, and as previously mentioned the fast free wifi...

There is no lounge for HA to make arrangements for, at least not in the same terminal as the flight. I've also never heard of that space called a special name, but that might just be me.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8530/5.0.0.601 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/417)

It appears that "Moroso" refers to the furniture company whose chairs are used in the seating area in question:
