Anyone know more about this - doen't seem to be in the mainstream media or maybe I don't know how/where to look :(

Easy Travel Report (http://www.easytravelreport.com) notes:
Friday 24 February airport personnel at Rome's Fuimicino and Ciampino airports 8 hours from 10 AM - 6 PM. Alitalia staff are joining in. Airlines to be effected by this strike are Ryanair, Easyjet, Alitalia, Wizzair, Airone, Blue Express, WindJet and Air Berlin.

Does this mean BA will be unaffected - doesn't seem plausible that it won't.

If the strike happens then in all likelihood the entire airport (including BA) will be affected. On the other hand only one FCO/AZ strike has actually happened since 2009 I think, the two or three others were all "delayed" to a later date, so it may be that nothing happens at all.

The strike has been mentioned on the Italy aviation forum ac.com, so it's not false news, but it's not sure to occur either.

They already have a list of affected flights, I would suppose BA would similarly know if they are affected.
