Qatar Airways Privilege Club - KWI - DOH - MCT in 1st & Econ - what to expect?

Hi all,

I am flying to Oman this week from Kuwait via Doha on Qatar Airways. I am flying outbound in economy (both segments) and returning in first (both segments).

I have never flown in first with Qatar airways before so I am wondering what to expect and how to get the most out of the experience? In particular the Premium Terminal?

I have looked on the website and seen the following information:

I'd quite like to sample some of the food and as Kuwait is a dry country a glass of wine / cocktail / champagne. My wife would possibly look into a massage too if she has time (we have 1h 35m from landing until when we depart on our next leg). Also, is everything I've mentioned above free?

There's a great thread on BA FT forum about how to get the most out of First - essentially I'm after any similar info for Qatar Airways shorthall first.

Hi Andrew,

Not sure on the times, but depending on when you are flying their will be different food options available to you. Its a mix between A-la Carte and self service buffet.

Champagne in the first class section of the premium terminal is great, however on the flights themselves will be the cheaper champagne which I personally am not a fan off.

There is a complementary massage for the long haul flights not for short haul flights, given your short transfer time you probably would not be able to make the most of it. There are some massage chairs though which you might want to make use off.
