Yes, the HH AmEx incurs forex fees for rooms not charged in USD.

Did you try to make an actual reservation? The rates on the homepage of the promotion are not accurate! Flash sale prices for Prague and Budapest were significantly cheaper than what was listed.

yes i checked the dates i wanted in late may 24,25,26 27,28,29 30 i need two nights in both the wa rome and venice stucky.

Does anyone know what the hilton in florence is like im showing 100euros good deal or not do they have a lounge ?

Rome WA is 216 euro's per night which isnt bad but i have heard people getting it for under 200.
The hilton stucky venice for those dates are 395 euros per night

That is the cheapest rate I had in ages in the above property.

I was there recently in mid Jan. it's a new, clean hotel but nowhere near the centre of Florence. 3min walk to bus stop. You either need a taxi or a bus to get into the centre, bus ride will take you about 10-15min, costs €1,20 per ticket, bus comes every 14min if I remember correctly, and google map on your iPhone will be able to tell you when the next bus is coming. I would not suggest you to stay there unless you have a lot of time on your hands because taxis are always on strike in Florence, once every 2-4 days without fail. The taxi ride will cost about €20 each way and you can stay in the heart of Florence in a good apartment with convenience if the Hilton is charging €100 + taxi ride. I paid €77 per night excluding florentine tax during last Hilton flash sale.

For some weekends in Sept, I saw London Kensington @ 83GBP (sale site says from 104GBP), Paddington 113GBP (sale site says from 136GBP). Other hotels were almost double the rate listed on the page (and they were still discounted from the normal best available or AP rates :eek:)

i managed to book a few hotels after it said 0 days 0 hours and 0 minutes remaining. Nothing great i feel got the hilton florence for 100euro and the WA in rome for 216euro in may

I gotta admit that this flash sale got me all excited since I need a couple of rooms next July in Amsterdam/Rotterdam. Alas the pubished Flash rates are wonderful to read but nary a one is to be had for months next summer except weekends

Booked Hilton Madrid Airport for one night in May. Flash sale rate is 83.4 euros. The hotel's regular rates seem high. If I were booking without the flash sale, I would redeem at 30k HH points instead
