I have a week long rental at Vegas in April.
Fox is $125. Advantage is $150. Payless is $157. Budget is $175.
Alamo would be just above $200, and National a little above that.
Any recommendations?

Fox is 2 busses away, where the others are only 1 bus. I personally would not rent from them unless is was A LOT cheaper.

I've gotten National down to $165.
Seems to be the best choice for peace of mind even though Fox is $40 less. Fox also charge $10 extra per day for spouse.

They should not charge for a spouse. A spouse is automatically considered an authorized driver per Nevada law.

Thanks. It seems you've quoted from National's rental policy.
Found this interesting article on the topic:
http://www.budgettravel.com/feature/0606_How_ExtraDrivers,3781/
What's interesting is that Fox say the following
Additional drivers must meet all qualifications as the primary driver in regards to age, license, and major credit card with USD/200.00 in available funds. Additional drivers are not permitted when using a Debit Card or Cash as payment at the time of rental. Charges for Additional Drivers -
USD/10.00 per day in Salt Lake City Utah, Las Vegas Nevada, Orlando Florida, and Denver Colorado.
USD/8.00 per day in Phoenix Arizona and Seattle Washington.
There is no charge for California locations. .
In any case, I'm going to stay with National as the $40 extra for peace of mind and most likely a better choice of car is worth it. In fact, the $165 matches Fox's rate for full size.
