Hyatt Gold Passport - Hyatt Place Dallas/Grapevine REVIEW - MASTER THREAD

Doesn't look like there's a thread for this property, so I'll start one.

This Hyatt Place is located on the outskirts of the Grapevine Mills Mall, not too far from DFW airport. Fairly typical HP setup with free continental breakfast in the lobby and standard HP living room / bedroom format.

*Decent wireless internet connection.
*Hotel has a free shuttle to/from DFW as well as surrounding areas (including downtown Grapevine). Shuttle is available 24 hrs but airport pickups/dropoffs have priority over other trips.

Had a plumbing issue the morning of checkout (shower had no water).. maintenance guy fixed it but not in time for us to use the shower.. front desk took 50% off the rate (we only stayed one night), which was pretty awesome of them. ^ Would definitely stay here again.

Last time I was there, which has been awhile since I discovered I can shop online and avoid malls and crowds, the Grapevine Mills Outlet Mall still had retail vitality to it (unlike so many built in the outlet store boom). So if that is your thing you can combine it with a MR and might just like the place.

There is also an Bass Pro store very close by if you prefer your crowds wearing hunting camo.
