Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - J ticket: Does TK put you up in a hotel in transit on 20-hour layover?

I asked this in the other thread I started, but I think the question got lost in the other questions I was asking (and the good advice I received!).

I may fly TK in J DAC-IST-LHR. One option for the return trip (in June) has a 20-hour layover in IST. Would TK put me up in a hotel? And if so, does anyone know which one and what part of town it's in?

FWIW, I'd be arriving noon on a Saturday and leaving the next morning at about 8 a.m. I assume that if I took a taxi into town upon arrival the traffic would be horrible, but not so bad for the departure early Sunday morning. Is that right?

For sure, you have only to go at Hotel Desk in Ataturk Airport and show your ticket.

They will offer you return transfer and 1 night in Hotel 4* with breakfast.

I made that 3 times in IST simply wonderfull!! The only thing is that you can't choose in which area of the city will be the hotel, is due to avaibility....

Yes they will provide you a hotel for a 20 hour layover. TK is amazing and it deserved getting the Best Airline in Europe award last year.

Only if there is no other option.If there is any with a connection time below 7 hrs.they will not pay for the hotel.

Don't accept the Air Boss or Akgun Hotel as they are absolutely not fulfilling the standards of a 4*/5* hotel.
