Canada - Day-use hotels at YYZ

Hello everyone-- tried a search but to no avail.

I am finding myself with a 12-hour layover at YYZ before heading to Europe. I'm not so sure I want to head into the city, so has anyone had any luck securing a day-use rate at a YYZ hotel? The Sheraton would work quite nicely but any close hotel with a shuttle will do.

But of course, if you all think it's worth heading into Toronto on a hot August relatively easily, then any other suggestions are welcome.

I would check with SPG or HH hotels by the airport directly.

Staying at the Sheraton Airport is all air conditioned from plane to room. They are probably more used to odd hour request (day use) being connected to the airport.

Other hotels you will need to take the shuttle.

There are 2 Sheraton properties and a 4-Points near YYZ. The closest is the Gateway (T3) but you can walk to the 4 Points:

You have lots of time, so I recommend waiting until mid-June, log on to starwood.com and check out their special Canada Day sale! (I have stayed at the 4 Points for $89, and the Gateway for $109).
