My first Swiss flight (not counting SwissAir flights prior to 2002) is coming up soon.
I recall reading here that the K seats are all ideal because they are all singles but my outbound flight doesn't seem to have any K availability.
So I chose 6G.
I'm curious how people like the bulkhead and 6G in particular.
Thanks in advance and apologies if, in my searching, I missed a thread that is very relevant to my question as I did search.

Actually, the singe A seats are the. Est ones as they have a table on both side of the seat and as such feel very private. These seats can only be booked in advance by SENs or HONs (LX's top 2 tier customers).
The uneven K seats ate a good alternative: there is no table to your right (I.e. between you and the window); bit there is one between you and the aisle. The uneven Ks are opposite.
Since none are available you did a good choice with 6G as it has a table between your neighbour and also between you and the aisle. The uneven rows will be opposite. That said there is nothing special a about 6G except that you might have infants on that row. Service also starts from there afaik. In any case it's one of the best European business classes available so you'll have a great flight.
Check seat maps on seat guru and search this is forum for more info and you'.l find much more info
Sorry for the spelling mistakes. Blame the iPad :-)

You did well if there are no A or K seats available.
The even row "A" seats are the most comfortable- 4/6/8/10/12A, followed by the K seats, followed by 6G. At OLCI if you get an A seat that will be nice as well- if not you should have a good flight anyway (and it is a fairly short flight).

Actually, the best seat on that flight is 4A. Other even A seats are good too, or then go for the K seats. Row 4 and 5 are in the smaller cabin in the front,] ^

I guess I will find out in a day or so but I've switched to 12A (all of the single A seats were taken according to EF except 12A and it's now mine).
There were center seats in the mini cabin but I've heard so much about the single A seats I wanted to try it.
I'll report back ...
12a was a good choice and thank you everyone here for your helpful input.

If I have a choice between the forward mini-cabin vs. the main biz cabin, what would you suggest?

Definitely the mini forward cabin. Very private, very quiet, feels like a small private jet.
However, unless you're a SEN or HON, I believe you cannot book row 4 or 5 prior to check-in.

I'm neither and I just booked my family of 4 into row 5. Sweet!
I see LX won best business class catering and was #6 for best business class in the World Airline awards.

Not on the A330 or A340 or you got your seat numbers mixed up. There is no 4C on these LX planes....
