is this the happy home of aer lingus?? i think they are partnered with BA<UA<CX<QF. since i can use my co/ua miles on them, and they have a port at iad for europe, they are a valuable resource. would be nice to put all the aer lingus post in one place. i think the code letters for it are EI.

it's easy. i just have been writing insults at stupid posters since 2000. i have been flying since 1960. i still have a couple three million miles in my account. where's BMI threads?
now, i do not understand your question. is 7K posts a few, or a lot. is it that you have never seen one of my posts before, or whatever?
i would like to travel from wash dc airport(WAS) to mad/bcn on miles/points, what site do i use for information? EI seems to have a nonstop, IAD-MAD.

I was referring to your initial post which seemed to indicate that you were unaware that Aer Lingus - which used to have a forum of its own, incidentally -had many, many, many posts right here - all in one place - in this sub-forum. And of course, a quick search has revealed 457 threads about the airline - and search is not particularly good - there are more than that. Most 7k posters could manage that much for themselves. You are right, Aer Lingus' codes are EI/EIN and the airline has been operating for 76 years.
Your little swipe about bmi seems to be targeting me. How nice of you to think of me. ;)
Aer Lingus 'operates' an IAD-MAD service on behalf of United. Some threads in this sub forum are:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/other-european-frequent-flyer-programs/959288-ei-ua-mad-iad.html
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/other-european-frequent-flyer-programs/1110480-aer-lingus-business-class-dulles-madrid.html
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/other-european-frequent-flyer-programs/992123-aer-lingus-a330.html
As it is a United service, here's the real thread you are looking for:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/united-mileage-plus-pre-merger/913181-consolidated-ua-aer-lingus-service-between-iad-madrid-thread-merged.html
I hope this helps you.

appreciate the link. saw hundreds of topics. a lot from pre historic times. a lot has changed with UA in the past 3 years, and a bit has changed with EI. i saw no reason to read the history of bmi. i fly washington to europe. i plan to fly in 2012. i looked at 6 months of EI posts. i figure the posts of 2010 are long since very old news.
i will be flying EI from iad to mad with CO points. not much dicussion on that back in 08.

I am with Gold Circle on this one- your post is very badly written and it seems only Airline Codes are worthy of "CAPITAL LETTERS. Frankly not sure who could actually make out your question(s).
And I, for one, appreciated GoldCircle's sarcasm, even if you did not get it.
