Didn't see it the thread. Norwegian Cruise Line is violated the wage to cruise ship staff. They did not pay the money to housekeeping, cabin crew and etc.
Shame on Norwegian Cruise Line!!:mad::td::td:

This is only an issue because the Pride is US Flagged.
Every cruise line pays like this. Don't go thinking that CCL, RCI etc are any better.

+ 10,000 times ^ and, its' not a matter of better or worst ... :o
NCL -without going into all the details about foreign ports - knew about labor "issues" like this before launching their US flagged ships doing 7 day Hawaii round-trips.
The rest of the NCL fleets, and other cruiselines sailing the American ports do not have "issues" with their contracted employees clocking in & clocking out, taking multiple rest breaks while you are cruising, i.e. housekeeping services are available only designated/select hours. Seasoned cruisers knew from week 1 that services on the Hawaii route doesn't quite meet the expected standards of other cruises with everyone watching their "clock" time.
Our last POA cruise in 2009 gave us first hand insight into some of these issues. If every cruiselines are mandated to follow these imposed wage rules like the POA, fares will go up, and, that is - high up, much higher ... (given the ratios of crews to passengers) This story isn't as simple as black & white, right & left (wrong)
