Logged on this morning to see a new interface.
Not had much time to check it out due to going to work, but all the missing data people have been complaining about appears to be back!
clicking on each item gives all detailed info like before.
Pity they did not fix the double miles not posting promo:rolleyes:
Only 10 items are showed per page which may be a bit of a pain if you stay a lot.

Upcoming reservations has also been updated. look better but not had chance to play around with it much
looks like the site is being changed bit by bit!

You can change the number of items to 30 (drop down box at the bottom of the list).
I quite like the new format.

The expiration date of the Royal Ambassador benefits does not appear as it did before IHG introduced the new internet design.
And of course the numerous bugs which oblige you to enter the PIN code anytime you go from one page to another.
Another "enhancement" which does not bring anything for me
The "upcoming reservations" section is clearer though (but takes longer to download)

While I agree with some of your issues (I hate hate hate the having to give my PIN multiple times while I'm already logged in :mad:) I do at least appreciate that they're trying to design the site in a post-2010 fashion.
I would imagine it's going to take them quite a bit of time to update all the issues -- they have to be aware of them (probably painfully so) -- but I would think in a huge organization like that, even getting a simple spelling correction made on their website requires a sign-off by many C level staff!

It defies belief they can invest whatever they have done in creating something noone asked for, at the expense of good customer service investment and posting stays that should post, promotions that should post, and PCR Visa and Shopping points that should post. Apart from that, they are a relative shambles.
Interesting to see that my recent Ambassador Renewal message now shows as Royal Ambassador Renewal :)

Seems to work just like the old site.
There was an error processing your request.
But the error message comes with a pretty picture of a compass.
Nice work team. Take a round of bonuses everyone.
Their consistency of flushing money down the toilet
by releasing software at alpha 37 level (never saw beta I bet) and
then retweaking it for 9 months afterwards is stunning.
Name 2 upgrades in the past five years that haven't been a nightmare
until the bugs were sorted out.

Trying to book Reward Nights for a stay in Mid-March...
- Location selected, available hotels displayed (with points/points + $$ options), selected desired point level...a refresh to the available hotels listing.
However, if the $ rate option is selected, then Rate Preference is changed from Best Available to Reward Nights, reward points options are displayed and can be selected and booked.

Probably related- my priority club mid-month statement today showed a point balance about 20,000 too high. I was saddened to log in and realize it must be a glitch- I was thinking some bonus had posted that I had forgotten about!

I am sure I am not in the minority, but my upcoming reservations shows only 3...while the mobile site shows the correct amount (20+). Unfortunately, I can't get more than 10 to show on the mobile, either, as it tells me an "Error Occurred" every time I try to go to the next page (only 10 show on the first page).
Has anyone had any success rectifying this, or is it something we just need to wait out? Sure wish they would fix the bugs prior to going live!

Interesting that not long after you posted this that renewal message was changed to reg AmB renewal....Flyertalk must save IHG a fortune in website/account intel if all they have to do is "watch & learn".

I can't see any IC reservations anymore. Really p*** me off as this makes my travel planning incredibly more difficult - modifying and cancelling is basically impossible. :mad:

For me, mobile.holidayinn.com doesn't work (to cancel reservation at ICs), hence I'm totally relying on calling IHG - which I hate.

To clarify:
I logged OUT, then the current reservations
screen simply asks for C# and last name.
I found the missing reservations OK via that route,
and was able to cancel as usual.

Can be. I have probably 5 dozend upcoming reservations (cancelled or not), and simply can't be bothered to scroll through hundreds of hotel booking confirmations to look up the confirmation number. This is a major inconvenience.
In my case, I don't even know whether I have cancelled a reservation or not unless I scroll through all my confirmation emails. :td: The system is currently not reliable (i.e. mobile.holidayinn.com shows that I'll be checking out a CP on Feb 27, 2013, after spending more than a year there ;)) and I manually have to check that all reservations are correct - a quick 30 second look at pc.com isn't enough. :mad: Hence, I need to call PC.

No other website takes away your reservations and makes you input numbers and names to retrieve them!!!!!!
Also, why do they show me all the cancelled bookings in full glory (with picture and all the details).
One wonders who is in charge at IHG.
The website has been a mess since the first re-write a few years ago.
It takes a fist on the table, BAFFFFFF! This is how we do it and we do it right.
What a big mess!!!!!!!!

Hmmm.... I just posted a lengthy thread about lack of customer service. I had a reservation showing on my account that I hadn't made. In the end, I ended up canceling it per their recommendation. There's probably going to be one unhappy person next Monday night when she finds her reservation was canceled.
Sounds like reservations that should be showing up for people aren't... I'm wondering if the opposite is true too? Reservations showing up on other people's accounts that shouldn't.

Hi, I am at a loss to understand how you can like it better when it does not show all reservations. I am a frequent traveler, 100+ nights a year, all (90%) with IHG and only 8! reservations are showing. All others, I have to search for inputting my name and the res number. It's a complete joke!!!

This situation has deteriorated quickly. On the main website, only 3-4 of my 20+ pending reservations are showing, which has been the case for the last week +. I used to be able to count on the mobile website, but I am now getting an error message there also (and have been for the past few days). Please tell me I am not the only one dealing with this. Priority Club...this is ridiculous!!!!!:mad:

It appears now all other sites now link to pc.com when doing anything with reservations, stays, pts etc. In the past sites like holidayinn.com had a different interface when managing your account, but looks like that is now dead.

it is also not possible to sign up for membership...
