Aegean Airlines Miles&Bonus - Aegean Airlines US Web Site

Has anyone had experience using the US A3 website to book tickets? Traveling from Rome to Athens in September and could not get the flight I wanted using *A miles. They have the flight on their website. No US 800 # to call so strictly doing everything via internet. Any comments suggestions would help.

Also, booked flight via *A miles from Mykinos to Paris. Need seat assignments. How can I get them from A3. Can't find anything on their website. Again, any comments would help

I think you mean their English language website. AFAIK there isn't a special one for the USA.

In the past, when traveling on Aegean in business class, my travel agent was able to call and get seat assignments for me. I don't remember how far in advance this was, maybe about a month.

However, if you are traveling in coach without status, it might not be possible to get a seat assignment before check in. This is common for intraEU flights on various carriers.

As suggested by MSPeconomist, pages do exist in English but for obvious reasons there is no US site. Seats could perhaps be reserved by phone (no personal experience but, again, MSPeconomist says it's feasible). On-line CI opens 48 hours before departure, and my experience says that seats are wide open if you do it early.

Well here is the email response from A3. Very quick, I may add.

However, we would like to inform you that your booking reference is confirmed. You can go directly to our self check – in kiosks in order to collect your boarding passes on the date of your departure.

Moreover, we would like to inform you that our online check-in service opens 48 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight. You can visit our webpage in order to check in online, select your seat and print your boarding passes.

There are definitely seat assignments for all passengers on Aegean. The only question is whether coach passengers can pick seats before OLCI opens for the flight.
