Other North & South America Frequent Flyer Programs - flying AM Clase Premier SFO-MEX-MID / lounge access question

1) Out of curiosity's sake, what lounge (if any) does AM use out of SFO? Perhaps the Dynasty Lounge?
2) I'm not quite sure I understand the lounge situation in MEX but hope we would have access to the domestic Salon Premier prior to our MEX-MID flight. Is that correct? And, are there showers available in that lounge (or anywhere else)?
I couldn't find the above details on AM's website (http://aeromexico.com/mx/productos/salones-premier/).
Thanks!

This is my last pitiful attempt to see if anyone knows--this doesn't seem like it should be that obscure a question. :) Aeromexico reservations doesn't really have an answer either; they mentioned Delta Sky Club but that doesn't seem to jibe with the club's hours.
If no one knows, I will certainly report back here.

I have never been in SFO while flying Delta so I can't say what lounge you would use. If Delta has a lounge at SFO, you should be able to use that one.
At MEX I used the Salon in T1 a few times before T2 opened in 2007. I believe the Salon in T1 is still open, but I believe your flight will go into T2. If you are in first or business, I do think you'll have a problem using either Salon in T1 or T2.
I don't know about any showers because I never been there long enough to look for one.
Hi,
I fly AM regularly but usually exLAX however I did a SFO-MEX trip end of last year (2011) on C on the late night flight. I enquired of a lounge and to my surprise they told me that there's no available lounge in SFO. The same in SMF and MIA. :td:
Delta has theirs in the domestic terminal and their international terminal lounge only caters for their NRT flight from 8am -4pm.
In Mexico the Club Premier lounge in T2 or the smaller Banamex T1 lounge does not have shower facilities. Just toilets but they do have massage and spa room (surcharge). The lounge is a little better than the ones in the US albeit smaller. If you're in T2 I urge you to go to the domestic side lounge which is usually less crowded. (Yes in MEX T2 airside you can walk from international to domestic v.v. without passing security or immigration again)
As of end of last year Club Premier has enforced a stirctly F/C or Y pax international flights only (arrival or departure) for lounge access even for SkyTeam Elite Plus members. Or you can pay your way in.
There's also a lounge in MID but again the international flight policy applies. Good luck.

How does the AM Lounge compare with the Amex Lounge in T2? I have a 6 hour layover there on the way to LIM and between PP and Amex I'm trying to figure out which lounge to haunt.
Free booze and food anywhere?
Personally I'd go to the Amex lounge. The AM lounge can be a bit crowded. There's finger food and free booze in booth but much more tranquility at the Amex lounge.
That being said, there's a for pay massage parlour ($) and cafe in the AM lounge ($)

I have another SFO-MEX-MID flight coming up.
It seems as if once should be able to access the China Airlines lounge when departing SFO, no?

(I'm Gold Medallion with Delta in addition to flying in Business on Aeromexico.)
Also, can someone advise on the lounge situation in MEX? I've only used the domestic lounge but gather the international lounge (with showers) is just down the hall but can't find conclusive information. Is this correct?
Thanks in advance.

The CI lounge might just cater for its flight out SFO. Check the operating hours.
As for the AM lounges in MEX neither has showers not even at the airport. Boths lounges are actually identical but the domestic one seems to be a tad bigger after the renovations at the international lounge.
Delta lounge at SFO is outside security. Easily found through the Delta Web site.

Thanks, I am aware of the Delta lounge.
Was curious about alternatives in the international terminal (and if folks had luck using the China Airlines lounge.) I guess I'll find out this week.

For those that might be interested:
1) The CI lounge at SFO can be accessed but it's just dreadfully packed and poorly provisioned unless you're desperate for a free drink. For what it's worth, getting a guest in with Skyteam Elite Plus status was a chore as well.
2) To correct a comment above, one of the two lounges at MEX does indeed have showers in the spa area.
