Does Virgin America offer a future flight credit if the price of your ticket drops between when you buy it and the flight? I've taken advantage of this on JetBlue in the past. My ticket price dropped $30 two days after I purchased it, so I can't just cancel and rebook.

Yes, but they also have a $75 change fee.

I wasn't charged $75. I noticed my flight price had dropped by $39.90 for my JFK to SFO flight, and $64.88 for my SFO to CUN flight (same flights for my husband).

They issued me a $209.56 VAmerica credit (good for one year) and did not charge $75 as I wasn't making flight changes, just requesting lower fares.

I was really, really pleased.

How did you get the credit? Did you call the main number?

Thanks

Nice. I read their policy to say that they charge you the $75, but maybe it simply has to be more than $75.
