Great future Star Alliance candidate!!

AI is a true reckless airline, who prides itself in displaying such sensitive pax data along with utter disrespect to passenger privacy. :td:

What, no credit card numbers and dates of birth too? I'm disappointed AI, you're losing your touch.

Even novice airlines know you need to at least show the bank account number.

Yep, I blogged about this over a week ago. It still hasn't been fixed.

Not that it matters - none of these booking/web references actually work. If you go try to view the reservation, it tells you that the reservation doesn't exist. So it doesn't compromise anybody's privacy. Not as big of a deal as I originally thought...

These are probably flights that have been taken, hence no longer retrievable.

Indeed.

That's why I don't see the harm in it. You can't actually use that information for anything at all, malicious or not.

You are right that the information can't be used for things like id theft, stealing tickets, etc. But there are many instances in which people would like to keep their past travel private (from business partners, family, etc). I think AI should not make such information public.

AI did not publish phone numbers, bank/credit card info or addresses. Just names and PNR. If you go to any airport you will see quite a few discarded (sometimes even active) boarding passes with all the passengers info including the frequent flyer numbers. Many years ago, I saw the same information on some contest on Continental (just names and travel dates only).

Unless you go to a ticketing office or something, you wouldn't even be able to tell the past travel - it appears that you cannot retrieve PNRs from AI's system after travel is completed..
