Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - Which booking class for Biz award ticket on Oman Air?

Hello,

Anybody knows which booking class biz award tickets on Oman Air are booking into? I just made a reservation for a biz seat using my Etihad miles. The booking confirmation says it is booked into "W" class and says it is "economy". I am wondering if it is just EY's reservation system that is confused, or if the reservation agent made a mistake.

That sounds wrong to me. They use the usual codes for Business Class J, C and I think D is promo Business Class.

Go to http://www.omanair.com/wy/, search for View Itinerary tab and see which class is shown on your itinerary there. WY uses SABRE, while Etihad is still on Amadeus moving to SABRE only in early 2013. Amadeus checkmytrip.com may not be have 100% correct information about WY redemption booking classes.

Interesting. Indeed, in Sabre the reservation shows as business class. On Amadeus it shows as economy.
