I know this has been asked, and I tried doing a Google search, but I just can't understand, especially based on past experience.

Question: I'm flying TLV-ZRH-EWR, LX C connecting to UA C. Where does LX land and where does UA depart from? How do I get from LX to UA, and what lounges are accessible? What lounges overall can I use? I'm also *G.
I really want a lounge with WiFi, a place to sit, and a shower (if possible). I care a lot less about food/drink offerings.

Background: I've done EWR-ZRH-EWR a number of times, and have never taken the train that numerous people have told me I'll need to take. I've simply gotten off the plane, don't know in which part of the terminal, walked towards the E gates, and cleared security and gone to my gate (and E gate). There's a Panorama Lounge there, (one floor up,) and that's it. If it helps, the flight usually takes off near an SQ flight.

Thanks in advance

As you say, TLV arrives, and UA departs from the Midfield E Dock. In that Building, the only Lounge is the Panorama Lounge. Though as you know, it has no Showers.

You'd have to get the Heidi Train over to the Main Building to access the Main LX Lounges (Both Business and *G) for a Shower, although this means you have to immigrate to Schengen to get in, and emmigrate back out afterwards.
Also in the Main Building are the D Pier LX Lounges (again Business Lounge and *G), which wouldn't involve immigrating/emmigrating, as they're in the Non Schengen D Level of Pier B, however they don't have Showers.

At the end of the day, it depends how much time you have to make your connection if it's worth getting the Train there and back, and queuing up to have your Passport checked (always assuming you don't even need a Visa to enter Schengen)

US passport, so no visa necessary. How long would the total transit time be to/from both the Main Building and the D Pier?

Ok, so in your particular case, TLV arrives 8:50, and EWR leaves at 10:20, so you have an hour and a half to play with.
That seems a little short to me, if you want a Shower.
The Train takes 3 minutes each way, and runs every 5 minutes. So that alone could take up to a Quarter Hour. Before that, you'll have to go through Transfer Security (I haven't done that at ZRH since they went Centralised, so can't comment on how long it'll take) and Immigration/emmigration can be hit and miss, I've breezed through before, but equally queued for 10 minutes at times.
And finally, there are IIRC only a few Showers, so you might have to wait a while for them, too.
On top of all that, I see your TLV arrival is 8 minutes late this morning, so while it could be done, is it worth the hastle?

I did not end up showering. Got to ZRH, and walked all the way to the other end of the E gates to re-clear security, but there was no line. Got my first pat-down, yay. I forgot that outside of Israel (as opposed to only in the USA,) you need to remove your belt. Stupid mistake. Anyways, went straight to the Panorama for a few minutes, got on the computer and something to drink, and headed straight to my flight.
Thanks anyways though. Perhaps on my return, when I have a 3 hour layover, I will head out. We shall see
