Flying on a Sun D'Or charter to BCN on the 26th - my first time. Booked it through Issta and it is an LY flight number. I fly LY a few times a year but this is my first time on a charter. Is it the same crew/service/seats/terminal/food as regular ElAl?

same crew
same seats
same terminal

not same food (sometimes smaller portions)
not same service but not very diffarent.

Sometimes you get one of the Sun dor airplanes (757) but you can also get the regular elal one.

The booking site (Issta) said it was a Sun d'Or flight in the footnotes when I was booking it, but that could be some legacy of their system. Strangely, the ticket restricts me to 5kg of hand luggage, which I don't understand.

Weren't they required to cease all operations?

You forgot that you are living in the land of Kombina?

So I ended up not taking my outbound flight - I had to stay in TLV for another day and they told me my ticket was not changeable at all so I'll end up buying a whole new ticket (my first time buying a charter flight and I end up getting punished for it). This morning, they called me to ask if I still intended to take the return flight. This was perplexing as I thought I lost the ticket since I didn't take the outbound. Is this even possible? Or is this some different rulebook because it's a charter?

Hi,

I'd be happy to look into it and get back to you. Could you please send me the flight details, either as a private message on here or as an email to the following address:

Link just worked for me, but my Hebrew reading skills aren't up to speed. Therefore, here is the link google translated http://translate.google.co.il/translate?sl=iw&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bhol.co.il%2FArticle.aspx%3Fid% 3D38419%26cat%3D10
